Why: |
Current versions are compatibile with Excel 97 through 2007 on Windows
and Macintosh.
All three add-ins are also compatible with Excel 2010 Beta
14.0.4536.1000.
TreePlan 1.74 has improved appearance of node symbols in Excel 2010
Beta and deletes only tree graphic objects when redrawing the tree. TreePlan 1.74
retains several enhancements from TreePlan 1.73: (a) a Select feature that can select an
unlimited number of non-adjacent cells or objects, previously limited to twenty,
(b) industry-standard triangle symbol for terminal nodes, instead of a
vertical bar, and (c) faster redraw of the tree diagram.
SensIt 1.44 has user-specified step for spider charts and two-factor
tornado charts, in addition to basic tornado charts and plots. (SensIt
1.44 fixed a seldom-encountered bug when negative values are used as
inputs for a spider chart. There were no changes to tornado charts from
SensIt versions1.43 to 1.44.)
RiskSim 2.41 has improved support for charts in non-English versions
of Excel. |

Who: |
If you purchased
the standard or Pro versions of TreePlan, SensIt, RiskSim, Decision ToolKit,
or WhatIf ToolKit via Digibuy or SWReg, you can obtain a 50% discount when you upgrade to the
new versions. No matter which standard or Pro product you previously purchased,
you may choose to apply this 50% discount to the purchase of any of the
current standard versions: TreePlan, SensIt, RiskSim, WhatIf ToolKit, or
Decision ToolKit.
The 50% discount is available only for the standard or Pro license, not for the
already-heavily-discounted Education license or the free 30-day Tryout

How: |
(1) Send an email message to
Mike Middleton with information about your original
standard or
Pro purchase. The best
way to identify your purchase is to specify order number, which has
the format RE1234567 or U1234567. If the order number isn't available, please provide the
approximate date of your purchase, or the email address you provided when you
ordered online, or some other information I can use to search my database to
confirm your purchase. (2) After I verify your original purchase, I will send
you an email message describing how you can purchase the new product
at a discounted price.
(3) After your purchase, SWReg will send you a confirmation email message,
and you can download the new software. Right-click or double-click the downloaded
zip file to
extract the XLA add-in files.
(4) Use your file manager to locate the old copies of the XLA add-in
files and delete
them. Exit Excel, restart Excel, choose Tools | Add-Ins or Office Button
| Excel Options | Add-Ins | Manage Excel Add-ins to check or
uncheck each old add-in, answer prompts to remove the old add-ins, and
exit Excel. Then move the new file to the location of the old copy,
and restart Excel.
