| Problem:
There is a bug in Mac Excel 2011, update 14.1.0 (110310), that affects the
vertical axis title and the plot area of the cumulative chart created by RiskSim
and the spider chart created by SensIt. The typical RiskSim cumulative chart should appear as shown below.

Instead, the chart created by RiskSim in Mac Excel 2011 appears as shown
below.

The plot area extends too far to the left and obscures the vertical axis
title.
Possible cause: A Microsoft test engineer has
acknowledged that the error is a bug in Mac Excel 2011.
The error occurs with manually-generated charts and VBA-generated charts
of this type (XY Scatter) when a minimum and maximum is specified for
the axis scale.
Solution:
Click inside the plot area to select it. To select the plot area, be
careful not to click too close to the horizontal gridlines or the
vertical gridlines.
When the plot area is selected, the selection is indicated by eight
sizing handles: four small circles, one on each corner of the plot area,
and four small squares, one each in the middle of each side of the plot
area.
To resize the plot area, click the square handle in the middle of the
left side of the plot area and drag to the right. When you resize the
plot area, the vertical axis title may also move to the right so that it
is still obscured. If so, position the cursor over the vertical axis
title so that the cursor changes to a four-arrow shape. Then click the
vertical axis title and drag it to the left. Microsoft may fix this bug
in a future update of Mac Excel 2011. Summary:
The cumulative chart created by RiskSim in Mac Excel 2011 has its vertical axis title obscured by the plot area, but it
easy to click and drag the chart objects to the correct positions. The
spider chart created by SensIt may have both the vertical and horizontal
axis titles obscured.
